Entering Grade: 8th Grade

Most Lasting Benefit of Your HDS Experience: How to stay calm under pressure. Whenever there is a daunting question or task, I often make mistakes. But, after going to HDS, the teachers have taught me how to break down a problem and make it easier to do.

One activity/subject you would not have tried unless you were at HDS: I did not try learning another language until I started going to HDS. I used to think that learning a language would be a waste of time, but now I know I was wrong.

What makes HDS special? The atmosphere at HDS sets it apart from the other schools I have experienced. The students and teachers here are friendly and welcoming.

Favorite HDS Memory: When Kyle spilled his hand sanitizer that smelled like yogurt and the smell stayed with everyone.
