The best way to understand the Harford Day Way is to visit. A campus visit is also the first step in the admissions process. Select the visit option below that works best for your family.
Please Note: As of November 2025, we are using a new database. If you previously inquired, you will need to create a NEW account for our new admissions portal. When you click one of the buttons below, you will be able to begin setting up a new portal account. After submitting the inquiry form, you will receive a confirmation email to select a password. Once you select a password you will be automatically logged into the admissions portal where you may register for an admissions event or request a private tour.

First Fridays: Coffee & Conversation
First Fridays: Coffee and Conversation are a great opportunity for prospective parents to meet in a small group with members of the administration, have questions answered, and see our program in action on a typical school day. Your visit will include a campus tour with a Student Ambassador, classroom visits, and time to learn more about the admissions process.

Spring See Us In Action: Open House

Our See Us In Action: Spring Open House takes place during a typical school day to allow you to see students and teachers at work. You and your family will have a campus tour, visit classrooms, and have a chance to ask questions about everything from curriculum and extracurricular activities to high school placement and admissions. The Spring Open House is an excellent time to get a head start on the admissions process for fall 2027-28!

Preschool Prep Course
Preschool Prep Course
Get a head start on preschool admissions with our Preschool Prep Course for children ages 2 to 4, and an adult caregiver.
Designed to provide prospective families with an authentic introduction to our distinctive preschool program, you are invited to join us for one 45 minute class this fall a full session (3 classes) in the spring.
Your child and an adult caregiver will participate in a hands-on lesson with one of our expert special area teachers in art, library media, music, Spanish, or physical education, and experience the student-centered approach of our warm and caring faculty.
You will learn what makes Harford Day School the preeminent educational option in Harford County for children age 3 to Grade 8, and how to navigate the admissions process.

Harford Day is the only PK3 to Grade 8 independent school in Harford County accredited by AIMS (Association of Independent Maryland/DC Schools) and a member of NAIS (National Association of Independent Schools).
