Entering Grade: 3rd Grade

Most Lasting Benefit of Your HDS Experience: The challenging academics have helped prepare me for future schools and real life by teaching me to work harder and be the best student I can be.

One activity/subject you would not have tried unless you were at HDS: I would not have experienced hands-on activities like dissections in 6th grade. We got to dissect different animals and write reports on each activity. I remember having the chance to dissect a dogfish shark.

What makes HDS special? I think the whole idea of academics, traditions, and the sense of family make HDS very special. The academics prepare students for all things relating to school and the future. The traditions give us an opportunity to take a break from academics to have fun. Together, these things make HDS feel like a family.

Favorite HDS Memory: The blue and green games at the end of the year are the best. It was always fun to cheer each other on and compete with all grades.
