Entering Grade: Kindergarten

Most Lasting Benefit of Your HDS Experience: The small classes allow you to learn how to interact with a variety of teachers and students.

One activity/subject you would not have tried unless you were at HDS: I wouldn’t have tried chess if it wasn’t for chess club in 5th grade. It was fun to learn how to play a strategy board game with friends and a good thing to know. I still play chess every now and then with my dad or sister.

What makes HDS special? The classes are small and everyone can participate so no one feels left out.

Favorite HDS Memory: My favorite memory is our 7th grade field trip to Echo Hill. It was fun because we all got to do outdoor activities and play around outside.
