The best way to understand the Harford Day Way is to visit. A campus visit is also the first step in the admissions process. Select the visit option below that works best for your family.

Fridays: December 5*, January 9**, February 6, and March 6, 9:00-10:30 AM

First Fridays: Coffee and Conversation is a great opportunity for prospective parents to meet in a small group with members of the administration, have questions answered, and see our program in action on a typical school day. Your visit will include a campus tour with a Student Ambassador, classroom visits, and time to learn more about the admissions process.

Private Tours are available most school days between 8:30 AM and 2:00 PM, and typically last 45 mins. to one hour. We strive to accommodate your schedule and provide you with a personalized visit. We will contact you as soon as possible to confirm a visit.

Wednesday, April 1, 2026, 9:00 AM-11:00 AM

Our Spring Open House takes place during a typical school day to allow you to see our joyful students and dynamic teachers at work. You and your family will have a campus tour, visit classrooms, and have a chance to ask questions about everything from curriculum and extracurricular activities to high school placement and admissions. The Spring Open House is an excellent time to visit for Fall 2027-2028 admissions.

Wednesdays: April 5, April 22, and April 29, 9:00-9:45 AM

Get a head start on preschool admissions with our Preschool Prep Course for children ages 2 to 4, and an adult caregiver. Designed to provide prospective families with an authentic introduction to our distinctive preschool program, you are invited to join us for one 45 minute class or a full session (3 classes).

Your child and an adult caregiver will participate in a hands-on lesson with one of our expert special area teachers in art, library media, music, Spanish, or physical education, and experience the student-centered approach of our warm and caring faculty. You will learn what makes Harford Day School the preeminent educational option in Harford County for children age 3 to Grade 8, and how to navigate the admissions process. This course is free.

As of November 2025, we are using a new database. If you previously inquired, you will need to create a NEW account by submitting a new inquiry form. After submission, you will receive a confirmation email to select a password. Once you select a password you will be automatically logged into the admissions portal where you may elect your visit of choice.
