Summer at HDS 2021: The BEST of Harford County

Registration is now open. The camp is open to students entering preschool through 5th Grade. Students entering grades 6th through 12th can apply to become a CIT.

Week 1 (June 14-18): Getting to Know Us - Explore all that Harford Day has to offer (music, art, Chinese, Spanish, Sports, and more) led by current HDS faculty and staff! 

Week 2 (June 21-25): Welcome Summer - Visit Harford! Partnering with Visit Harford Maryland, campers will discover different aspects of what they and their families can experience during the summer time in Harford County. No need to leave the county to try new things!

Week 3 (June 28-July 2): Fine Art Inspired - Experience the wealth of art opportunities located in the heart of Harford County (Abracadoodle, The Purple Bicycle)

Week 4 (July 6*-9): Financial Finesse
 - It’s never too early to start saving and to learn how to manage your money! (Harco, Wallet Wise Financial)

Week 5 (July 12-16): Entrepreneur Expertise
 - You can start your own business! Learn how to start a business, from business model to making money! (Bright Box Projects)

Week 6 (July 19-23): The Beauty of Harford
: Flora, Fauna and More! Learn all about flowers, trees, and gardening.

Week 7 (July 26-30): Helping Harford 
- We couldn’t explore Harford County without learning about HELPING the people and animals of Harford County!

Week 8 (Aug 2-6): Delicious Dishes
 - With so many yummy places to eat in the county, we couldn’t pass this week by! (Mamma Mish’s)

Week 9 (Aug 9-13): Sensational Sports
 - There are so many activities to get you moving in Harford County! (i9 sports, Ballet Chesapeake, U.S. Taekwondo Academy)

Week 10 (Aug 16-20): Camp Invention
 - This will be a wonderful week full of hands-on STEM activities that will get kids excited about all types of science and math related experiences!

Week 11 (Aug 23-27): Wonders of Writing (and reading too!) - Authors, and Illustrators, and you, OH MY! Explore the variety of writing styles (poetry, fiction, non-fiction) and learn how to bring the stories and pictures in your head to the page! (Joanne Galantino)


$270/wk for 9:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m. Camp Day, drop off begins at 7:30 a.m.

$10/day for 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Extended Day

$135/wk 7:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. for CITs (Grades 6-12 only)

A non-refundable deposit of $100 is required to sign up. Payment in full is due on or before May 1, 2021. All but $100 is refundable if you cancel by June 1, 2021.

Join us at Harford Day School on our beautiful 12-acre campus as we spend the summer celebrating Harford County and everything it has to offer!

The Early Childhood enrollment capacity is 15 students.
The Lower School enrollment capacity is 30 students.
