Summer smARTS at Harford Day School

Registration Closes April 30th.


10 WEEKS: JUNE 12 to AUGUST 18, 2023

Join us on our beautiful 12-acre campus for summer learning and fun! Our programs serve children from age 3 through entering 5th grade, as well as limited options for Middle and High School. Every week offers programming that partners with local and statewide vendors, including:

We have convenient options for all families—half-days or full-days with extended care, for an additional fee, until 5:30 pm Located in the heart of Bel Air just off of Business Route 1, our campus is easily accessible.

Preschool Prep

Ages 3 to entering Kindergarten
 
Preschool Prep is designed to support the youngest learners in their journey to and through preschool. We will work on soft skills needed to be successful in preschool such as problem solving, communication, adaptability, critical thinking, time management, and being a part of a larger group.

Discovery Dragons

Ages 5 - 11 (entering 1st to 5th Grades)

Discovery Dragons is a program for kids who want to have fun and parents who want their kids to learn something new! From 9am-12pm daily, we will have a different vendor led theme each week, offering a variety of experiences.

Dragon Trainer

For students entering 6th-8th grades, working with ages 3-5.

The Dragon Trainer  program combines your child’s favorite summer activities with an introductory service learning component that focuses on teamwork, leadership, and community service within the Early Childhood program (ages 3-5). Choose the weeks with themes that are the most interesting to you.

Dragon Leader

For students entering 9th-12th grades, working with 1st-5th graders.

Dragon Leaders will learn responsibility while participating in service learning activities focusing on character building, responsibility, and leadership. Under the teacher’s supervision, DL’s will assist with children age 3-entering Kindergarten, or entering 1st-5th grades.

Harford Day is the only PK3 to Grade 8 independent school in Harford County accredited by AIMS (Association of Independent Maryland/DC Schools) and a member of NAIS (National Association of Independent Schools).
