All parents are encouraged to attend the monthly Parent Association (PA) meetings. Each class elects two representatives who are eligible to vote on matters brought before the Association. The PA plans fundraisers to support the school, sponsors family events, coordinates community service projects, and provides parent educational opportunities. The President of the Parent Association is a voting member of the school's Board of Trustees and serves as a liaison between the parents and the Board.
All current HDS parents are members of the Parent Association that meets monthly during the school year, except in June and December. Meetings are Thursday mornings at 8:05 AM in the library (see dates and times below). Please refer to the Handbook for more information about the HDSPA.
