All parents are encouraged to attend the monthly Parent Association (PA) meetings. Each class elects two representatives who are eligible to vote on matters brought before the Association. The PA plans fundraisers to support the school, sponsors family events, coordinates community service projects, and provides parent educational opportunities. The President of the Parent Association is a voting member of the school's Board of Trustees and serves as a liaison between the parents and the Board.
All current HDS parents are members of the Parent Association which meets monthly during the school year, except in June and December. Meeting times alternate between Thursday mornings and Wednesday evenings. The dates and times are listed below. The meetings will be held in the library. Please refer to the Handbook for more information about the HDSPA.
