Entering Grade: K-Prep

Most Lasting Benefit of Your HDS Experience: I believe that both the community and the school curriculum will be most beneficial as I move on to high school. My classmates and friends have supported me every step of the way, and I have done the same for them. The academics are also very advanced, and each grade prepares us for the next. I have learned so much here that I hope to take with me through future years.

One activity/subject you would not have tried unless you were at HDS: If I didn’t go to HDS, I don't think I would have tried being in a musical or playing field hockey and lacrosse. We have many opportunities to try new things during clubs and extracurricular activities after school. Without these choices, I would not have found the activities I now love.

What makes HDS special? HDS is special to me because it is like my home away from home. The kind students, supportive teachers, and the rest of the school community have become my second family; I have met my best friends and made some of my favorite memories here with them.

Favorite HDS Memory:
My favorite HDS memory is having the blue and green games on the last day of school every year. It is a school tradition and is tons of fun! The entire school participates in different relay races and games, and its a great way to end the year.
