I am delighted that you are considering Harford Day School. Welcome. Come for a visit. Meet our teachers. See our children engaged in amazing activities, learning, and having fun.
As the parent of a student in Harford Day’s Third Grade, I know selecting a school for one’s children is among the most important decisions we make as parents. We want to know our children will be supported to meet their full potential and known as individuals. We want them to be in a safe and joyful environment that reinforces their natural curiosity and instills a love of learning. We want to know they will have a broad yet deep range of experiences that allows them to develop in all domains—cognitive, social, emotional and physical. We want to know that they are sensitive to diversity and respectful of others. Finally, we want them to be prepared for the future, to have choices for upper school and beyond. You can be assured that you will find all of this, and more, at Harford Day.
By selecting Harford Day, our families make education a priority and in return they find a supportive community of teachers, administrators, and fellow parents. We understand that providing an independent education for your child(ren) is a long-term commitment. We work with each family to determine if Harford Day is the best fit for your child(ren) and then work to make it a viable investment. If affording Harford Day is a concern, please know that financial assistance is available.
