Head's Welcome
Welcome to Harford Day School. We currently enroll about 340 boys and girls in grades pre-kindergarten through eight. Our twelve-acre campus is located on Moores Mill Road in Bel Air and includes three main buildings.
Harford Day's greatest strength is its dedicated and talented faculty who balance a rigorous academic program with a nurturing environment. Our students are active participants in their own education, developing responsibility, independence and enjoyment of the learning process, while gaining a solid academic foundation.
 Parent involvement is an essential part of the Harford Day experience. All parents are members of the Parent Association. Many choose to participate by accompanying their children on field trips or helping with class activities. Others become involved in fundraising efforts, the most notable of which is a spring Dinner-Dance and Auction. Parents and teachers communicate frequently and work together to help students succeed.
